Lieutenant Colonel Timothy F. Riemann, a native of Conroe, TX, is a distinguished graduate of The Virginia Military Institute with a degree in History. He began his military career by completing The Basic School and the Assault Amphibian Vehicle Officer Course. He then served in various roles, including as a Platoon Commander in Iraq and a Platoon Commander supporting the Marine Expeditionary Unit in Japan. He also instructed at The Basic School and attended the Expeditionary Warfare School. Later, LtCol Riemann commanded Bravo Company and served as the Battalion S-4 officer at the 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion. He contributed to establishing the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Creativity and attended the Marine Corps School of Advanced Warfighting. LtCol Riemann served as a Marine Air Ground Task Force Planner in Bahrain before becoming the Inspector-Instructor for the 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion in Tampa, FL.
